The MCSSA offers the following FREE services to all public water supply systems that serve a population less than 3,300.
OPERATOR TRAINING WORKSHOPS
These workshops provide a variety of educational opportunities to small public water system personnel and potential personnel to build and improve various skill levels needed to supply safe drinking water that meets water quality regulations. The subject areas offered are related to operator certification and training.
Specifically for systems that serve <3,300, these workshops focus on a variety of subjects, from financial planning, to fulfilling regulatory requirements, to preparing to take the VSS exam.

OPERATOR TRAINING PAYMENT REIMBURSEMENT
This service provides reimbursement to small public water suppliers (serving less than 3,300) for the cost of attending a 1-day or two ½-day seminars or workshops with an approved provider. This grant also offers reimbursement for the cost of taking the Very Small Systems Certification or Distribution Class-1 exam.
